Stylish ways to rock your long hair

Stylish ways to rock your long hair

Do you have long hair? Your hair length is one of the most versatile out there.  Here are some tips to get you started. Updos typically work best with hair that’s dirty.  Don’t wash your hair for about two days before attempting any of these styles. These styles also require extra tools/accessories. You will need hair ties (to help section off hair to style), bobby pins of all sizes (to secure an updo), a rat-tail comb and bristled brush.

Here are 5 options on how to rock different styles to showcase your amazing locks.

A high bun-Brush your hair into a clean, high pony tail. Add a little bit of hair spray to make your tresses look sleek. Secure your ponytail with an elastic. Next tease all the hair in your ponytail. Don’t be afraid to go big with your locks. Gather the hair, spin it around clockwise into a bun. Secure the hair with bobby pins all around the head. Finish with hair spray. (Note-You can either tease your hair before it gets put in the ponytail or after. It doesn’t make a difference in the final product.) https://youtu.be/M7KVwYdoKMY Long-Faux-Hawk-Hairstyle

The faux hawk-What’s cool about this look is there are a number of ways to wear it. Here are two ways you can rock the hawk. For the first version, the twisty hawk you will want to have clean hair. Prep clean, dry hair with a light-hold working hairspray.Section off the entire right side, then begin an underhand French braid. Lace the hair strands up and over (instead of under) to create a puffy effect. Next, move to the top fringe section. Take this section, pull the hair straight up and lightly backcomb. Gather hair and hold three inches from the ends. Then, loosely twist the hair down and secure with bobby pins.Continue this technique while working your way down to the nape area, creating loose twisty curls to resemble a mohawk style. Now, move to the left temple area and twist hair into a knot and secure with a bobby pin.To keep this look soft, pull some strands out and allow those curls to fall.
