Best looks at the 2016 VMA’s

The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards was a night fit for a queen, Queen Bey that is. Beyoncé took home 7 Moonmen awards for her “Formation” video and one for the controversial song, “Lemonade.”

Screen Shot 2016-08-29 at 10.35.16 AMBeyoncé rocked the red carpet with her daughter Blue Ivy in an angel-winged ice queen in a strong shouldered, see-through pale green and metallic fall 2016 couture gown by Maison Francesco Scognamiglio. Blue Ivy stole the show being the little princess she is rocking an Aoki dress called the Grand Royalle, complete with a tulle skirt, tiara and pair of peach-colored kicks on her feet.

The duo sported mommy and me braids. Bey had a cornrow that crossed over the crown and then cascaded into a single plait down her back. Blue Ivy had sweet cornrow pigtails accented with a crown.

Beyoncé’s look is accentuated by her updated blonde color which looked amazing against the pale green/metallic dress. Earlier in the summer chose to go super light blonde with her hair color to kick off her Formation Tour. She decided she wanted to change things up for the VMA’s. So her colorist kept her tresses in the blonde family to maintain that bright, angelic feeling to her shade. Since B wanted to wear her hair up,, her colorist pretreated her tresses with a trio of products and a finishing gloss.

Screen Shot 2016-08-29 at 10.38.20 AMWhen you color and style your hair as frequently as Beyoncé you need to use good products such as the Olea line. The Olea Shampoo & Conditioner are amazing because they are enhanced with Olive Oil. In particular the conditioner revitalizes and regenerates dry and damaged hair. Its texture completes the shampoo’s action, and dry, damaged, treated hair are revitalized thanks to its Natural Virgin Olive Oil Formula. This combo will help your color stay looking its best.

Then once a week, be sure to use the Olea E Hair Mask. This mask is natural, easy and very effective, especially for dyed and damaged hair. The nourishing formula gives your hair deep moisture and balance the PH of your hair which keeps the hair cuticle closed, making them shimmery and smooth.

Other A listers on the best dressed list include Kim Kardashian-West, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj.

Screen Shot 2016-08-29 at 10.41.10 AMKardashian-West debuted her 70 pound weight loss after giving birth to son, Saint West December 2015. She opted for a super sexy, curve hugging dress with several statement necklaces and wearing her hair down and super natural. Her hair was super easy to achieve, her stylist brushed her damp hair back and used product to give it the wet look. Tip: To achieve this look, wash your hair, towel dry, part hair then brush hair to the side, work through Olea E Serum and let air dry. Our Olea serum makes your hair manageable, shiny and gives a healthy sheen. Our special formula coats the hair shaft and effectively shields from environmental damages such as harsh sunlight, humidity and pollution. Our Olea serum is the miracle solution for dry, rough, frizzy hair that gives your hair lustrous appearance for a long lasting style.

Screen Shot 2016-08-29 at 10.13.11 AMAriana Grande kept her look simple for the red carpet. Her signature high ponytail with some crimped strands and a chic off the shoulder top. Want to achieve this look without a crimper? Check out this video. Nicki Minaj looked glam in her dark blue skin revealing gown. Minaj wore her hair down and straight.

Screen Shot 2016-08-29 at 10.13.54 AMHere’s the skinny on how to straighten your locks just like Nicki Minaj’s stylist does. First spray your hair with a good heat protectant spray such as Mark Hill Gorgeous! Work It Girl! Shine, Protect And Control Spray. What’s great about this product is that it adds shine to your hair while protecting it from heat. This product protects your locks from heated appliances up to 450 degrees.

Next create super sleek, perfect strands with Beyond the Beauty’s Ceramic Hair Straightener (1.25”, Hot Pink). This straightener protects your hair with 100% ceramic plates which slide over your hair without snagging or breaking the hair shaft to leave your hair stronger and healthier. The infrared technology and the ionic technology lock in the moisture, revitalize dull lifeless hair and prevent damages while producing perfect styles for any type of hair.

Screen Shot 2016-08-29 at 10.45.28 AMFashion misses of the night include: Cassie, Farrah Abraham, G-Easy and Rita Ora. Cassie looked simply crazy! Her bright yellow bob, gray blazer and gold pants was simply an ugly ensemble.

Farrah Abraham must have forgotten its August and not Halloween when she picked out her super hero costume. G-Easy’s silk shirt and pants ensemble looked like the hot mess express while trying to back up Britney Spears in her performance. Rita Ora just plain weird in her gothic ensemble with red fringe on it.
