Another beautiful bridal fashion week has come to an end, and that means it’s time to look back on the latest wedding dress trends to make their way down the runway! Last season’s romantic 3-D floral details were still in full bloom, while plunging necklines were seen in almost every collection (get ready to bare that décolletage 2017 brides!), and big bold florals embroidered otherwise sleek minimal looks.
Styling for the florals varies on how intricate your gown is. The runways have shown the more tulle and sparkle your gown has, the bolder the accessories and the more flashy the hair should be.
Models were seen sporting everything from the half ponytail (hair half up and half down), wavy hair and high updos and more.
If you plan on getting married in 2017, you can save yourself a ton of cash if you do your hair on your own. If you opt for DIY bridal hair, be sure to practice once or twice before the big day. Begin by spraying your hair with a sea-salt hair spray. Scrunch the hair from the roots to the ends. You’ll want to continue scrunching while blow-drying your hair on a low setting. After you heat the hair lift and hold it until it cools, this will help with volume and eliminate frizz. Apply a volume powder (not a dry shampoo) at the roots. A dry shampoo can dry out clean hair, whereas a volume powder will add the right amount of oomph.
Start at the top of the head by rolling small bunches of hair, making sure to leave out a “tail.” Secure each twist with a bobby pin. There is no right or wrong way to twist. After you make a few smaller twists at the top, begin twisting larger sections in rows across the scalp — about three twists per row. Secure each twist with bobby pins.
Make sure your twists are above your ears. 
Don’t use a brush to smooth out the hair, just use your fingers. This keeps the ‘do from looking over-styled. Once you reach the nape of the neck, you’ll take even larger sections. Twist until the hair begins to coil, and pin into place. Leftover hair should be grabbed in big sections to finish the look.
Continue twisting, coiling, and pinning the hair. Give your head a light shake. Secure any 
areas you feel need more attention with bobby pins. Note how the twisted “bun” in the back is actually your three larger twists. This will be the most important part to secure. Using your fingers, soften the hair in between the twists. Last but not least to top off the garden look, Nestle in the flowers and pin (on the wire) in a perpendicular fashion. And walla- you’re done!

Deep v-neck styles were seen at almost every presentation, from Marchesa, to Oscar de la Renta, Lela Rose, and more. One thing’s for sure, designers are counting 2017 brides to make bold, skin baring choices, and the result is elegantly sexy — perfect for modern brides looking to make a statement.
Get ready to bare those shoulders! The off-the-shoulder trend so ubiquitously seen on the ready-to-wear runways, finally trickled its way down to the bridal world. The trend was seeing in both minimal and ornate styles. J.Mendel kept it sleek in an a-line gown with a subtly shorter front hemline and bodice cutout, while Sachin & Babi made this trend ultra-romantic by adorning off-the-shoulder cuffs with softly tied bows. The trend was also seen in shades of lace at Marchesa, Reem Acra, and Christos.

Back to clothing, Toppers were also a big hit this season, making their mark in the form of capelets, bomber jackets (particularly gorgeous in fur detailing at Oscar de la Renta), boleros, and ponchos.
Oversized bows also grabbed our attention on the runways. Carolina Herrera, Sachin & Babi, Oscar de la Renta, and Peter Langner all accented their wedding dresses with oversize bows, be it as a show-stopping back or waist detail, a romantic addition to sleeves, or even attached to jewelry.
